A fresh interpretation of a timeless idea for hospitality and shelter. This Vermont inn brings together historic character and thoughtful contemporary design, offering accommodations that range from comfortable shared-bath rooms to private en suites, alongside generous common spaces and shared kitchens that encourage gathering, conversation, and connection.
Housed within a restored 1840s timber frame, the property has been reimagined as a modern, environmentally conscious gathering place. Fourteen fully climate-controlled rooms are powered by renewable systems—locally sourced wood pellet heat, solar energy, and high-efficiency heat pumps—delivering clean air and year-round comfort.
Designed for today’s explorers, The Stable brings together mountain bikers, hikers, skiers, artists, and travelers in a setting that supports both adventure and creativity. As part of the Vermont Huts Association, it contributes to a growing network of community and trail connectivity along the Velomont Trail.
